The app says "No devices yet." How do I add my Roku?
Make sure your iPhone and Roku are on the same Wi-Fi network, then open Settings in the app and tap Scan network. If your Roku doesn't show up, type its IP address into the Add by IP form. You can find the IP on the Roku under Settings → Network → About.
Discovery isn't finding my Roku.
Some Wi-Fi networks block the multicast traffic that Roku discovery uses (common on guest networks and networks with AP isolation). In that case, just add your Roku by IP — it works on any network the two devices share.
What does the $0.99 Pro purchase unlock?
Channel shortcuts (one-tap launch for apps like YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video) and fast text entry using your iPhone keyboard. One-time purchase, no subscription, no ads.
I bought Pro but lost it after reinstalling.
Open the paywall (tap the keyboard icon or the Channels tab) and tap Restore purchases. Apple will re-verify your purchase and unlock Pro again.
Does the app collect any data?
No. Faster Remote stores your saved Roku addresses locally on your iPhone and sends commands directly to the Roku on your Wi-Fi. Nothing leaves your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Hold-to-repeat doesn't work for me.
Press and hold the d-pad, fast-forward/rewind, or volume buttons. Releasing the button stops the action. Tap quickly for a single press.
