• Couple Code: A unique code generated to link you with your partner
• Partner Connection: Information about which user account you are linked with

Name Preferences

• Swipe History: Names you've liked, disliked, or skipped
• Filter Preferences: Your name search preferences (gender, origin, style, etc.)
• Matches: Names that both you and your partner have liked

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

1. Authenticate your account - Verify your identity when you log in
2. Connect couples - Link you with your partner using the couple code
3. Match preferences - Compare your name preferences with your partner's to find mutual matches
4. Personalize experience - Display your name and partner information in the app

Data Storage and Security

• All data is securely stored using Supabase, a trusted database platform
• Your password is encrypted and never stored in plain text
• Data is transmitted using secure HTTPS connections
• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is used exclusively within the We Named application for the purposes described above.

Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication. Supabase has access to your data only as necessary to perform its functions and is obligated to maintain its confidentiality.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time using the "Delete Account" button in the Profile screen.

When you delete your account:

• You will be prompted to re-authenticate with your password for security
• All your data is permanently and immediately deleted:
  • Your profile information
  • Your couple connection
  • Your swipe history and preferences
  • Your matches
  • Your authentication credentials

This action cannot be undone. Your partner's account and data remain intact (if they choose to keep it).

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data (available upon request)

Children's Privacy

We Named is designed for expecting parents and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

• Posting the new policy in the app (if significant changes occur)
